Meet our CEO
Derly  “DerLICE®” Bardales was born in 1976 in Lima, Peru during a time disrupted by terrorism. She grew up surrounded by the love of her parents, grandparents, and uncles. She is the eldest of four siblings. Her father Cesar worked as an accountant and entrepreneur, always coming up with new business ideas. Her mother Gaby was a devoted teacher beloved by her students.

Her parents instilled in Derly the importance of having an education. She graduated from the National University of Callao with a bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering. Sports were also a relevant part in her life; she practiced Karate and became a Brown belt. This made her disciplined and perseverant in her endeavors. Her favorites hobbies include cooking and dancing, something her grandmother passed along. 
Derly got married at a young age and had a daughter. Her daughter was the main motivating force for seeking new and better opportunities for her and her family. After much reflection, Derly and her husband decided that it was best for the family to immigrate to the United States. Nine years later her daughter Lilia would move to the USA to start college; fulfilling one of her family’s long-held dreams.
In 2012, Derly started her adventure in this new amazing country. Derly was fascinated by the different cultures and lifestyles within the USA. She started working as a babysitter and housekeeper, demonstrating her passion for working with children and families. Her host family was incredibly nice; she learned their culture from the wonderful meals and scintillating conversations they shared, giving her the feeling of a home away from home. Her love of families instilled a desire in her to create a greater impact in the community. She looked for business opportunities that could create a global-scale impact but still gave her the opportunity to connect with families by providing service on a personal level. This led her to ultimately pursue a certification in Human Pediculosis and launch DerLICE®. 
DerLICE® was envisioned as a company that strives to help families and children being affected by the stressful situation of a lice infestation. Her life’s satisfaction comes from serving others.
